Get to know Michelle, Manager of the Mineshaft Tavern
Don't tell her I told you this, but Michelle, the manager of the Mine Shaft Tavern, was born on the, (now speaking especially quietly with hands partially covering mouth), flatlands. Yikes. But it was during these years on the dairy farm that Michelle started entertaining. Always inviting guest over for Sunday dinner, exploring the farm and, of course, all the fresh milk a young girl could handle. But all it took was a few family trips to the Colorado mountains and Michelle felt the Call of the Wild.
A love for the high places brought her to Spearfish for college and then it was off to Colorado again for six years. This is where the great passions of fine wine, fine dining and snowboarding really started to take hold. But don't be fooled, this is also a girl perfectly ready to debate the fine characteristics of a PBR or Schlitz any day of the week. Here at the Mine Shaft Tavern at Mystic Miner Ski Resort.. Michelle tells us, "I am home."
